Our new baby Lexi

Lexi is our new Great Dane baby who is 9 weeks old. Her birthday is August 31,2009. We got her yesterday without even thinking about it. My daughter Hilary and her boyfriend Robert were getting one and we went with her to look at the puppies. There were a liter of 13 and 2 were left. My daughter picked the brother of Lexi. My husband Wes out of the blue made an offer for the last one and here she is. I never saw it coming. You know we have 4 Shih Tzu now. We lost our 1st Great Dane Dec.1st 2008. The puppies mom Dana was such a beautiful Dane I would have taken her home. Our new Lexi has all the markings like her mom so I am sure we are going to have a beauty. Now Hilary's little boy is a little stockier than Lexi but he is a male.
I will keep you in touch with how big Lexi becomes.

Another trip to SC

What a BEAUTIFUL weekend to go to the mtns in SC. The colors were
so crisp. It really makes you thankful for being alive. Sometimes we are
too busy in our lives to stop and look at what God created for us. We all need to
stop and take a breath and look around. I just have to say WOW Thank You God!

Shots of Tia and Sam's booths

Lots of cool things in their booths. Love the RED chair Tia.

Shots of Piggy and Ella's booths

My girlfriends are ready for the fall with all their Pumpkins.

My Bedroom

This is my Bedroom. I am always moving things around. I love to decorate. Sometimes things I have in the kitchen end up in my bedroom. Sometimes some of my collectibles from the living room end up in the bathroom. My husband never knows what the house will look like after I get into one of my changing around moods. It's a sickness I'm sure.

You will see a few of my favorite things.
I love White, Green and Purple. I love Shabby Chic
and Victorian.

Our second Painting Class

This is my first painting I have done. It took
2 classes to paint. I started out painting white
roses but with my love of purple they changed
somehow. I think I did an OK job. I think I am
going to paint my Shih Tzu, Zoe next. We have
so much fun in class and it is fun going out to
lunch afterwards. I love Tuesdays now!

Lonnie, Pam and Connie show off their beautiful
paintings. we have such a fun time in our class.
Next Tuesday we get to start our second paintings.

This is may new friend Julie and her first painting.
What a great job.
Dianna is our Painting Teacher.
Tammie has painted her back yard. I would love to see that.

The refreshing drink to start off
a beach vacation.

The Green Door

The Green Door
32 Avenue D
Apalachicola, FL

This is the coolest shop I have ever been in.
I met this Artist here in Atlanta and she told me
about her store in FL. I went to her website and
knew that I would have to visit if ever in this area.
Love it, Love it, Love it.

check it out www.AMYTHEARTIST.COM

The Tin Shed

Could it be a Mer-man??????
What a MAN!!!!!

It's not Flipper!!

Of course I went to Antique shops while I was on vacation. Wouldn't you?

This is the Tin Shed Antique Shop in Apalachicola.

This was one of my favorite places.
This place is so laid back. Everyone was
so nice and enjoying their ice cold beer
in the hot sun. The oysters were wonderful.
A mother and son own and run this bar. They
are a good team and have a lot of fun as partners.
You have to visit Eddy Tech's next time you are in
St George Island in FL.

Cape San Blas

This is the beach at the State Park in Cape San Blas.
My friend Bonnie and I came to this beach and put our
chairs on the sand bar out in the water and soaked up
the sun.
